Still here!

Due to mechanical problems with my sister's car I am still here till Thu!I am seriously beginning to miss my small apartment esp my room! The car refused to start in the morning but some research on the net came up with an interesting solution!Hitting the starter with a broom a couple of times actually does the trick, this is after I had exhausted all other jua kali solutions that I knew. With my fear for being stranded I am most definitely taking a starter mechanics class to shore up the little that I know.Anyway we got to the garage and she got the starter worked on.Back in the boondocks I don't need a car but it seems that when it comes to life here it is a neccesity.Anyway I have like 8 months to go before I have to slay that dragon.I think the main part of what bugs me about not having a car is having to depend on someone to take me around when I am here, urggggghhhhhhh!!!!I will confess, The Acolyte is a proud being.I am used to doing my own thing and being as dependant on people as little as possible (but I still have people that I depend on!).I also don't like being at people's mercy physically, financially and emotionally. The last category has led to some very interesting situations in my love life (not that I am going to share!).
Anyway I still have a paper that is due Thu and I have to struggle to do it even though I find it hard to get work done when I am here!

Maddona uncensored

I have always loved Maddona's music esp since she re-invented herself as Esther. She released her latest music video "sorry" and it seems that the original version was unsettling to some television station big wigs.Well here is the video in all it's glory uncensored. If you find anything in it worth censoring please let me know.
ps:You might want to pause the other video before you start this one.

Anfield pics

These are pics from Liverpools 3-1 victory over Newcastle on Sunday. As from April I plan to start saving to go to Anfield then see a pal in London sometime next year.I most definetely plan to visit any KBW members out there!

With Pepe Reina between the sticks no wonder we are in a better place in the table at this
point in the season!

B & E!

The Acolyte has now added a new skill to his repetoire.....B & E!In full breaking and entering! Now how did this come to be?Well I was with my sister and a gal pal of mine.So this gal had just bid on a house that had been forclosed and won it.So we went to pick her up so she could show us the house. So after a 1 hour drive and getting lost for some time courtesy of crappy directions from Mapquest we got there. The house is in a nice new sub division. It is a small two story 3 bedroom house but we couldn't get in because her realtor, another Kenyan chap had the keys and he had left the area just an hour earlier and was not coming back.We were so pissed since we had made that whole drive for nothing. So there we are 2 gals and Aco standing outside a new house looking into the windows. Its the realtor dude who told us that we could get in using the trick that we see in the movies. The good old credit card lock picking technique. After a few attempts by the gals and Aco nothing doing.Mind you as we are doing this we are making it look like we are using the keys and waving to any neighbours as they drove by.Good thing it's a black neighbourhood so we didn't stick out.Anyway after getting a discarded credit card and using Aco magic I realised that the trick is to slide the card in lengthwise under where the lo ck meets the door and push up while at the same time pushing the door.Voila! You're in!The interior of the house was pretty cute too!But we decided not to dawdle as with a good B & E you're meant to be in and out as fast as possible!
After that later in the evening we went to Compound.I must admit that even though I dont like night clubs much, I prefer lounges and bars; I must say that it is a pretty nice joint.Plus if you RSVP you get in free before 11pm (anyone remember beating the 9pm buzzer at soul?).The only blight on the night was this place has damn unisex toilets so you have to line up to relieve your bladder after lining up for 30 mins my bladder was like "Hell no!We're shutting up shop!"In fact that reminds me of something whenever you drink something and you are on a road trip it seems kinda hard to hold it in and to make things worse the driver doesn't want to hear about bathroom breaks but on the other hand when you are in a club with that kinda situation your bladder turns to steel that and when you are in a bar/club and have met/come with a fly chic, getting your groove on as vultures hover in the horizon waiting for a mere 2 seconds of your absence to swoop in!Talk about the wonders of the human body!
Other then that my pal starts talking to my sis about how she would love to get a new car like a beamer instead of the suzuki she's driving now.....and a man to pay that car note.Blech!!Let's just say that chic fell off my charts sometime back as have many chics due to that kind of avarice. But the peeps who make me happy in those situations are our old time Kenyan babas and Germans. These are the kind of men who went they keep a chic the chic will want for nothing but she also will rarely see a penny so that she never gets any thoughts of running off to enjoy that cash with some young lad.You tell one of these men you want to go shopping, they go with you and pay for it; you want to get your hair done? They take you to the salon and settle the bill when they pick you up.So gal here can't get any ideas of flying the coup.Anyway women are such complex beings!

Tell me this.....

Last night I went to a lounge/club with my sister and her pals.I usually don't do clubs at all but seeing as it was Spring break and it would be quite sometime till they see me again I decided to bite the bullet. The place we went to was really laid back and the crowd wasn't too large.I think they had all gone to Savannah for the St Patrick's parade or something.
But there are some chics who shocked me.These two gals were clubbing wearing their bra, undies, glitter and some gold body paint. They were a couple of feet away from us but I hadn't noticed till I saw people milling around that area so I took a look.First thing that came to mind was how they got in dressed or rather undressed like that?I think they must have come in wearing overcoats or something. If they were trying to make a statement, what was it?I know that dressing is a form of self expression but I am at odds to know what the deal was with them.
I remember a long time back when women were not so explicit in their dressing.Nowadays so little is left to the imagination.I remember in uni the gals who got the most attention from guys were those who usually dressed prim and proper (no not like school marms) when during dinners or so they would unleash the little black dress. This was because they showed a sexiness to them that people had never seen so guys were left wanting more. But when on the other hand you always have your chest and ass hanging out, we get tired of seeing the good real fast and they lose long term value (but they still rock for quick thrills!).Come to think of it, girls please tell me this; does your chest feel the cold when you walk around with half your cleavage hanging out?I once was bored (dont ask me how this came to mind) and I decided to walk around with my top 3 shirt buttons open ala 70's style. It just felt windy and kind of uncomfortable.Or does cleavage generate heat?Same thing goes for the legs and thighs, I have been to Carni and seen chics in minis while I have been freezing in my jeans and sweatshirt. In fact I have come up with this theory; the amount of womens' flesh covered by clothing in a club is inversely porpotional to the amount of mens' flesh covered by clothing in a club.
btw:Why oh why oh why do some gals still insist on looking for boyfriends in clubs?I'm not saying that you won't find some good men in the club, but the thing is that most men go to the club to drink, hang out and get laid not to look for wifeys.Plus many of the men with focus and drive (like me!) don't go to clubs often.
