Monday....

I am sure that you have heard me complain about the ennui in my office.Anyway what happened is that the Grad assistant for the International Office was graduating so there was a vacancy there over summer.Meanwhile in my office there was no funding for a summer assistant.I applied and got the summer job.The same day I get the job my boss asks me what I am going to be doing over summer and I tell her, she goes ahead to tell me that she has put in a request for funds so maybe I could work for her over summer.Don't get me wrong I like my boss, but the boredom and monotony of the same faces and the same work day in day out is way tooo much for me.What is even more interesting is that the International Office want me to work for them during next semester.Which I really don't mind as I like the folks there and the environment.
Now a question for the ladies. What does it mean when a chic tells you that you remind her of her dad and that she has a close relationship with him and loves him greatly.Yes it's a very freudian question!

Father's offer protection and stability. Maybe that is what she sees you exuding character wise. which could work for or aganist you.

there's a theory i read about kitambo from some magazine - women tend to have an affinity for men who have similar qualities to their fathers. the idea has been floating around for a while so if you're interested google it and i'm pretty sure it will pop up.

regardless, i still don't fncy the idea of someone yelling at me 'who's your daddy' in the middle of sex - ai, i find that wierd!

Eh...have you ever heard of "women marry their fathers" they look for mates that closely resemble their male parents. So... when's the wedding?

@ spicebear
That theory seems to make alot of sense!Since I'm not having any, I can't talk about talking let alone shouting during sex!
@ stunuh
Seems you and spicebear are on the same page.Didn't you know that I am anti-weddings!

When a chic compares you to her father, she's giving a compliment. And she also wants to see your reaction (coz we know that dudes get terrified of our dads the same way we're terrified of your moms).

Shiroh said...

It depends on what they mean.
If daddy was bad, absent, cold then it is not a good thing.

But if they penda the daddy then you are good to go

She is Oedipal. LOOOOL

But seriously, I am with Shiro, it depends very much what her relationship is with her father.

Its true, admit it or not, a woman tends to be drawn to men who are like her father in character. I will go for a strong, stubborn, confident, assured, kind men who always have it together and they adore and respect them to bits. Men who are stronger than me, and I can trust their lives with.
That is very much like my father.

It is not a bad thing at all, IMHO, unless of course she has been weird and hoping to er....let me not even say it.

As long as its good, it def works for you. Whether women admit it or not. If you had a good relationship with your father, you tend to tilt towards the same in men.

LOOOOL, I had not seen Mr. Kiptanui. LMAOOOOOOOO.

Tihihihi

Having a good week Aco?

Kenyangal said...

I can't tell you why she said that but since she loves her dad and has a close relationship with him it is safe to assume that That was a pick up line right there. Sidebar: for me if I told a guy he reminds me of my dad it might not be a compliment coz i have a love hate relationhip with him :(
