Old habits die hard

When I was in high school after a test we used to have this bad habit of getting together as a group and comparing what answer we put down for what question and seeing if we were right or wrong.
Well the thing is that I am just from an exam that consisted of some fill in the blanks and essay questions. The thing is that with essay questions you can throw all that you have and you are bound to hit something while on the other hand with fill in the blanks either you know or you don't know!So me being the master of weaving webs is sawa lakini out of old habits I found myself opening my text book to check the answers. And to think that I am in grad school.tsk tsk tsk....

Heey Acolyte, for real old habits die hard, lol! It's probably too late to stop comparing notes (even with yourself!) if you're doing it in grad school. Although the good thing about grad school is that you're competing with no one but yourself. Much succes!
-Btw, I got anwers to teh Qs you asked. Thanks for contributing, was an eye-opening experience.

"The thing is that with essay questions you can throw all that you have and you are bound to hit something while" - love that bit, especially since I perfected it in uni LOL

Good luck - oh, sorry, you already know whether you got the right answers or not *giggle*

Chief!! We were kings of post-mortem... It was an art mpaka you'd dissect how you answered, how you remembered, how you studied and calculate potential marks from the paper...

Then there was the laughing at those who were silent coz they missed tha answer...

Hahahahaha

Thx for bringing back a flood of memories!!!

Like Guess, did you get them right???

Grad students are the worst. I realised after one test that the supervisor had left the question open to interpretation, the old little fart was only all to aware about this old habit. So of course after the test, we compare and major heartattacks occur! Only to find out as long as ones reasoning was sound and the points could be proved he'd mark the answer correct!!!!! have never forgiven the old fart for 1 month of agonizing torture!
